This is a blog by Ben Raue. I’m a former Greens candidate in south-west Sydney. I have a particular interest in politics, and particularly elections, in Australia and other english-speaking countries.

I have written election analysis for Crikey.com.au and appeared on ABC radio 774 Melbourne. I am interested in, and available for, opportunities to provide election analysis for those elections I am following, providing an Australian perspective on elections across the world.

While I’m an active member of the Greens, this blog is neither a tell-all blog about the inner workings of the Greens, nor is it a blog that gives psephology a Greens spin. This doesn’t stop me from having a particular interest in psephology in relation to the Greens, but I believe I treat these issues fairly.

I do not publish information I have gathered through privileged channels of the Greens. This blog is not here to publish news first-hand, it’s an electoral analysis blog.
