This seat has the new Western Sydney Airport precinct, and is becoming increasingly urbanised especially around Oran Park and in the future in the new city of Bradfield. The Liberals should be fine here and Tanya Davies picked up a swing here at a pretty poor election for them in 2023, but do expect this seat to become a tad more volatile in the future.
@ James
the 2015 redistribution removed the best Labor parts from Mulgoa electorate such as Colyton and Oxley Park. I think Labor has long term interest in this seat as it urbanises.
For example, the new metro line will have stops in Luddenham and Orchard Hills so i expect those to become more like Oran Park in the future.
A couple of points
1. St Claire/Erksine Park generally vote Labor at a federal level
2. I think Glenmore Park is firming for the Libs long term
3. I think Bringelly will also become urban and more Labor friendly.
