@gympie I’m sure most people would agree with that. Unfortunately labor relies on Muslim voters to stay in power and it’s in their political interest to allow more of it. The problem is that their religion justifies it as above the laws of men and that’s how they justify it. If the Roman Empire never declined and fell the Ottoman empire never rises and Islam is reduced to a minor religion in Arabia or never really existing.
@Gympie “No immigration from countries where the culture includes the right to kill others for a variety of reasons”: Remember Peter Dutton’s widely condemned call to end all immigration from Gaza?
@John: “Unfortunately Labor relies on Muslim voters to stay in power and it’s in their political interest to allow more of it”: Remember Jacinta Nampijinpa Price’s widely condemned comments suggesting Labor was deliberately bringing in Indian migrants to boost its vote, which forced the federal Coalition into damage control?
I would strongly advise you and all Tally Room members against making comments disparaging or calling for discrimination against Muslims
or any other religious or ethnic group. Setting some Australians against others and further dividing our community is the last thing we need in wake of the Bondi tragedy. Any attempt to divide our community further must be called out. Ben may consider stepping in if these kinds of comments are made too often.
