  1. With the great unwashed generally disinterested, but easily spooked by the portrayal of what was once family values as the epitome of right wingery, it is pretty hard to be socially conservative and simultaneously economically neo-cons and still be portrayed fairly by the media.

    The Libs are now suffering from the ‘if you don’t believe … you’ll believe in anything’ narrative. Indeed, their whole policy platform is effectively a net zero area as big as the REZs imposed on many of the electorates!

    So, our politics is all about the 8% of voters that can be swayed by interest groups.
