Gabrielle Williams is very high profile and Labor has put some effort into fixing the area so I don’t see this seat becoming remotely close in fact despite the outcome in 2026 Labor could improve here.
Gabrielle Williams would be a better choice given the margin here so she can be out of this seat out campaigning plus she doesn’t have commonwealth games controversy or teachers pay dispute issue either.
@SpaceFish: Agreed. What’s more, replacing Jacinta Allan with Ben Carroll means removing a female leader in favour of a male one, the optics of which will be diabolical because it smacks of sexism. Replacing Jacinta Allan with another woman such as Gabrielle Williams will not have such an issue.
