Geography
Coastal towns south of Perth. Brand covers Kwinana and Rockingham council areas and northern parts of Mandurah council, with the seat stopping short of the centre of Mandurah.

The ALP topped the poll in Brand – polling over 9.3% above the statewide Labor vote. The Liberal Party’s vote was 7.3% below the statewide Liberal vote. The Palmer United Party came third in Brand, with 7.4% (compared to 5% statewide). The Greens vote was just over 7%, compared to 9.5% across WA.

Booth breakdown
Booths have been divided into four areas. Booths in Kwinana and Mandurah local government areas have been grouped together. Booths in Rockingham local government areas have been split between Rockingham in the north and Warnbro in the south.

The ALP topped the poll in three out of four areas, with the Liberal Party topping the poll in Mandurah. The ALP’s vote ranged from 32% in Mandurah to 41.2% in Kwinana.

The Liberal Party’s vote ranged from 23.4% in Kwinana to 35.9% in Mandurah. The Palmer United Party came third in all four areas, narrowly ahead of the Greens.
