Having spoken to him and his team. I highly doubt he’ll retire. He’s fairly involved with his constituency and doesn’t seem too bothered.
If anything I think it’ll spur him on to stay and be more vocal about the issues important to him like Palestine.
I think he’s still got a lot in the tank. It’s not uncommon for an ex-cabinet minister to sit on the backbench for another term or two or even make a return to cabinet.
