James, one thing you can do to keep better track of recent comments is to subscribe to the comments RSS feed - that gives you a longer list of recent comments, which I've always found much more helpful for not missing anything. That may help a little.

Hey Ben, I'm a long time reader and I really appreciate your work. But could you please do a small favour and expand the number of comments displayed in the "recent comments" section of your sidebar? I like to keep track of what everyone is saying but there's lots of comments on lots of different posts and I'm afraid currently I'm probably missing out on some.

Also, how do you pronounce your last name? I say it to myself as "Row" as in rhyming with cow. But I presume I'm wrong.

Cheers.

I am in the process of putting together a guide to the Tassie election, I'll post properly when it's all ready, but here's the Denison page for anyone who is eager.

More Tassie stuff: here's an article about Bass from Antony Green, with some funky looking graphs of a Hare-Clark count in action.

Stewart J, that party sounds like something the fellows from Edinburgh would come up with: http://www.sydneyfestival.org.au/2010/Theatre/Party/

(Their party names were: The Righteous Party, The Liberal Humanists, The Social Justice Party & Gladios (it's Latin for 'sword'!))

Hey Ben,
What about the Tas election? Its actually getting vaguely interesting with it looking like a hung parliament, and now a new "green" party emerging (the Ethics and Sustainability Party, which sounds more like a Green Liberals variant...) - http://www.themercury.com.au/article/2010/01/17/122035_election.html
