@Justin-Paul Sammons That poll refers to Vlaams Belang being ahead in the Dutch electoral college in Bruxelles, which is normal. I don't speak Flemish, but I've seen some polls on the RTBF. They had CDV on 20-22, with the VLD second (18-20) and the Lijst Dedecker falling to 10-12%. VB was at 15-18 or so.

Interestingly, in Brussels you can chose which language list you vote on. Since the final language ratio is fixed, it seems to me that a French socialist living in Brussels should strategically vote for the socialists on the Flemish list, to reduce the overall number of right wing seats.

Most of the polls I found in Flemish newspapers either focused on Ecolo doing astoundingly well in Wallonia, or looked at polls for the regional government elections. I found several that were similar to this one:

But I find it rather confusing that a party on 4% of the votes is considered to be “in the lead”, unless it’s a major typo and they’re talking about seats. Where are the other polls you’re referring to?

The Vlaams Belang is leading polls in Flanders? Really? Where? The only polls I’ve seen placed them third (or second), behind the CDV and narrowly behind/ahead of the VLD.
